Throughout the Christmas story we find angels. They share the joyous news and praise God for his wondrous salvation gift.
Manger and Baby Jesus
The Lord of the universe began His earthly life in a feeding trough because He loved us so much. Jesus left the glories of heaven to be born into a peasant family. He lived as a carpenter and then a teacher. He died a criminal. He arose as a Saviour, and He will return a King.

The majority of our shapes are hand made and are therefore unique. This adds to the enjoyment of the Christmas lights display.
This humble animal is believed to have bought Mary safely on the 90 minute trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem. God takes care of us, just as he took care of them on that journey.
Loaded down with gifts for the newborn king, the Wise Men probably traveled on camels. We come to Jesus with our burdens, and just like the camel did for the Wise Men, Jesus carries our burdens and gives us rest when we need.
Even at a young age, God saw something special in Mary. He chose her to give birth to His son. She wasn’t rich or famous— she was just a young girl who trusted God and was willing to obey him.
Joseph was a man of character. God entrusted him to raise his son. Joseph carefully and lovingly guided Jesus into adulthood. To serve God, Joseph loved a child who wasn’t his son.
The wise men came to worship the newborn King. They bought him the most expensive spices in the world— gifts fit for a King. For they recognized who is really is—King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The story doesn’t end on Christmas. Jesus came to purchase our freedom from sin. He sacrificed Himself in our place so we can know God, and live in peace and joy with Him forever….Amen.
God shared the miracle of his Son’s birth with humble shepherds. The Good News is for everyone, including the humble among us.
Jesus’ birth was a real event in real space and time. If we can trust that, we know that we can trust God with everything in our life.
